In the box
See it in action

Watch it work.

Muddy paws to clean — one wipe.
The full tour — back seat to trunk.

Whatever they rolled in
stays on the cover.

Mud, river water, sand, hair, half a dead thing they found. It lands on 600D waterproof Oxford and it wipes off. Your seats never meet it.

In the box

One order. Everything arrives together.

What it stops

Three things ruin a back seat.

Muddy paws

Every trail, every rainy walk, every beach day — straight into your seats.

Hair everywhere

You vacuum. It comes back. You vacuum again. Nothing changes.

Scratches & tears

Claws on leather don’t buff out. Neither does the resale value.

Before & after

With Wagon, and without.

Without A loose blanket on the back seat — slid out of place, floor covered in mess
A loose blanketIt slides, it bunches, and everything ends up under it.
With Wagon The strapped-in Wagon platform with a German Shepherd lying flat on it
A strapped-in platformStraps go over the headrests, and the mess sits on the surface instead of in the seat.
Without Shed dog hair worked into bare leather seats and the carpet
Hair in the seat fabricWoven in. Vacuuming barely touches it.
With Wagon The same shedding sitting on top of the waterproof cover
Hair on the coverSits on top of the waterproof surface — one wipe and it's gone.
The difference

Most covers are hammocks.
Hammocks sag.

A sagging cover means your dog slides into the footwell every time you brake — the whole drive spent bracing instead of lying down. Wagon is built on a rigid base with a load-bearing plate. It does not sag, and it closes the gap in front of the seat so paws and legs cannot slip through.

Hammock cover

They slide forward on every stop. Over time they stop wanting to get in at all.

Wagon — load-bearing base

Flat surface, steady footing, no gap to fall into. They lie down instead of holding on.

The price

Why it is $99.99
and not $169.

A hard-bottom extender is not a new idea. The American brands have sold one for years, and theirs costs $169.99. Here is what the extra $70 buys, and what it does not.

Competitor figures are the published prices and shipping terms of the two largest US hard-bottom seat-extender brands, checked 20 September 2026. The last two rows are the ones we lose. They are here because you would find them anyway.

One size. One colour.

A single 53.94″ platform in black, instead of two sizes in three colours. One product to make, one to stock, one to ship — and you are not funding the five you did not buy.

Straight from a US warehouse.

Your order goes to the warehouse the same day and leaves from inside the United States. That is why it reaches you in 1–2 business days rather than 5–7, and why there is no shop’s margin stacked on top of it.

No lifetime warranty. Thirty days.

If you want a cover you can still send back in 2032, buy the $169 one — that is a real thing the extra money buys. What you get here is 30 days to fit it, drive your dog around on it, and send it back for a full refund if it is not right.

Five setups

One product. Five ways to use it.

Hammock setup — sides zipped up
HammockSides zipped up — contains the mess on wet days.
Full bench setup — German Shepherd lying flat door to door
Full benchLaid flat door to door — the everyday setup.
Half-seat setup — the platform on part of the bench, a passenger beside the dog
Half seatOne side folded — a passenger keeps their seat.
Trunk setup — lies flat as a cargo liner
TrunkLies flat in the boot — mud stays on the liner.
Picnic blanket setup — unclipped and flat on the grass
Picnic blanketUnclips and lies flat — outside too.
First drive

It arrives flat.
Three steps and it is a platform.

01

Slide the base in

The firm board is packed on its own. Unzip the side panel, slide it inside the cover, zip it shut.

02

Lay it across the bench

Front edge against the backs of the front seats, so the footwell is covered door to door.

03

Strap over the headrests

Adjustable straps, no tools. Pull them until the surface sits flat, and that is the whole job.

If the board is loose in the box, nothing is wrong. It ships separately from the cover so the whole thing arrives flat instead of creased. Step 01 is where the two become one piece.

Before you ask

The five questions everyone has.

Will my dog slide around on it?
Less than on a hammock cover, and here is the honest version. A hammock is slung between the headrests, so it dips in the middle and your dog slides forward every time you brake. Wagon has a rigid board inside, so there is no dip to slide into, and the platform bridges the footwell so paws and legs cannot drop through. The cover itself is held by straps over the headrests. On very slick leather some owners still put a thin rubber mat underneath it — if yours does, tell us and we will help.
Will it fit my car?
It fits most cars, SUVs and trucks — 53.94″ wide by 24.8″ deep, with adjustable straps and no tools needed. It comes in one size, so a full-size truck bench is wider than the cover; everything else it covers door to door. Use the fit finder above, and measure the gap between the front edge of your back seat and the backs of the front seats before you order. If it does not fit yours, send it back within 30 days for a full refund.
Will it crowd the driver’s seat?
It takes up the rear footwell, so be honest with yourself about the space. The platform is 24.8″ deep and rests against the backs of the front seats. Measure that gap first: 24.8″ or more and it lies flat with nothing to change up front; 20–24.8″ and it rests against the front seats, which usually means moving them forward an inch or two; under 20″ and we would rather you asked us first — email hello@wagonpet.com with your car and we will tell you honestly, usually the same day. Either way the 30 days cover it.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it down. The surface is waterproof and scratch-resistant, so mud, hair and spills come off with a damp cloth. Like most new gear it can smell of new material out of the box — give it a day to air out before the first drive.
How long does shipping take?
Orders go out the same day, or the next morning if you order late, and arrive within 1 to 2 business days. It ships from inside the United States, not from overseas, and your tracking number reaches you the day it leaves.

30-Day Returns. No arguments.
